60 Days IBPS PO Exam Preparation Strategy

Days 1-15: Build Foundations

- Reasoning Ability: Practise high-level reasoning puzzles, input-output, and critical reasoning. Strengthen your problem-solving abilities.
- English Language: Practice error spotting, sentence improvement, and practice more reading comprehension passages.
- General Awareness: Stay updated with current affairs, banking news, and static GK. Make concise notes for quick revision.
Days 31-45: Mock Tests and Analysis
- Take Full-Length Mock Tests: Simulate the actual exam environment with timed mock tests. Identify weak areas and work on them.
- Analyze Performance: Review each mock test to understand mistakes and learn from them. Work on time management.
- Revision: Focus on revising important topics and formulae regularly. Avoid starting new topics at this stage.
Days 46-60: Fine-Tuning and Revision
- Focus on Weak Areas: Work on the areas that need improvement based on mock test analysis.
- Last-Minute Practice: Solve the previous year’s question papers to get familiar with the exam pattern.

- As per the marking scheme, each question carries 1 mark and there is a negative marking of one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks for every incorrect answer
- The exam duration is 60 minutes but only twenty minutes will be given to complete each section

- The mains exam comprises 155 objective-type questions for 200 marks
- As per the marking scheme, each question carries 1 mark and there is a negative marking of one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks for every incorrect answer
- The objective section will be held for 3 hours and the descriptive paper will be held for 30 minutes
